Job Description:

Great company with strong financial backing and a bright future in a prolific shale play, is seeking to add another great addition to their technical team. We are looking for the following experience:

Work extensively with the field personnel regarding well optimization and provide on-site support as required

Evaluate well performance and provide engineering recommendations to enhance production

Monitor and review Lease Operating Expenses and assist in the overall effort to reduce operating costs

Participate and assist Production Department in generating annual LOE budget

Participate in the organization, coordination and follow up of well reviews

Utilize Nodal analysis to identify process flow related problems and provide economic solutions to resolve such issues

Assist in the overall development of our water disposal needs as required

Work within ARIES and assist in the generation of production related projections as required

Work with Facilities Engineers to evaluate future gathering and production equipment requirements

Allocate time in the field assisting field personnel in resolving production/emission equipment performance issues

Assist Production Team in maintaining regulatory, environmental and safety compliance

Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies related to production efficiencies, emissions requirements

Prepare workover procedures and assist in overseeing daily workover operations

Work with various forms of artificial lift such as plunger lift, gas lift, hydraulic lift, ESPs and sucker rod lift systems

Attend safety meetings, safety stand downs, offered safety training and appropriate skills training and development classes

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering required

3+ years in the oil and gas industry

Strong background in Operations, Artificial Lift and Salt Water Disposal

Experience with Cygnet, Business Objects, Spotfire, ARIES, Petra, Cost Pick, JDE and RodStar a plus

Strong communication skills

Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Knowledge of down hole operations, facility construction, compression, pipelines, measurement and telemetry a plus
