The Packaging Design and Equipment Sales Engineer supports the Engineering team by assisting packaging sales reps in selling advanced packaging machinery and solutions to food, industrial, and commercial clients. This role requires strategic thinking, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to drive sales opportunities forward. Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in corrugated packaging design (horizontal, vertical, and stand-up) are essential.Key Responsibilities:Sales Support:

• Assist sales reps in identifying and pursuing new packaging equipment opportunities.
• Understand client needs and propose appropriate packaging equipment solutions.
• Present equipment capabilities to clients alongside sales reps.
• Help achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
• Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts, and in negotiating sales agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with sales teams and clients.Technical Support:
  • Create CAD drawings for equipment integration and ancillary components.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.Design & Testing:
    • Design packaging that enhances customer experience and works optimally with the equipment.
    • Conduct lab tests to ensure material and product quality.Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
      • Proficiency in CAD and CRM software.
      • Proven success in B2B packaging equipment sales.
      • Strong understanding of packaging processes and equipment.
      • Ability to meet sales targets and travel as needed.
