Responsibilities include streamlining operations through automation, creating and maintaining data lakes, leveraging technologies such as Kubernetes, Hadoop, and more. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

• Taking initiative and leadership of a diverse set of projects, from requirements gathering through to completion.
• Designing, testing, and presenting solutions to business problems, including architectural designs and software development.
• Perform exploratory analysis of processes and systems, with an eye toward identifying opportunities for automation and improvements.
• Being an SME (Subject Matter Expert) on matters of Data Engineering and DevOps.
• Design, develop, and deploy next-generation solutions to our products and services, including Data Lakes, Containerization, Data Pipelines, and more.
• Using logic, programming, and AI/ML to create tools to help solve business needs from scratch that enhance functionality.
• Stay current with DevOps and Data Engineering trends and suggest improvements to existing systems and workflows.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
