Location:Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment:PsychiatryShift:Varying Shifts (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:20Summary:The Program Specialist II works with children in our Psychiatric unit and is the primary caretaker for psychiatric patients ages Pre-K - adolescents. The specialist assists patients with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. This position also participates in crisis intervention, teaching, group process, and on-call as needed.Part-Time position 20 hours per week / varying shiftsRequired Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Preferably in psychology, child development, social work or related field).
• Experience working with at-risk youth preferred.
• Education in Child growth and development courses required.
• Prior experience working in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred.
• BLS certification, or must be completed within 60 days of start date.
