Platform Software Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Platform Software Engineer II to develop platform services on top of their compute infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy secure, scalable solutions using open source components and Golang
Implement internal cloud infrastructure components like Service Mesh, Service Proxy, and API gateways
Collaborate with SRE and SQA teams to ensure system reliability and manageability


Required Qualifications

2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Hands-on experience with a systems programming language such as C++, Go, or Python
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other CNCF projects
Solid understanding of Linux, Bash, and network fundamentals (HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, DNS)
Familiarity with telemetry and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
