Location:Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment:Child LifeShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:The Child Life Specialist will be responsible for providing essential life experiences, family support & education to patients and families in Wound Care/Plastics. The child life specialist collaborates with other health care providers and the community to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience. $5000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicantsRequired Education/Qualifications :

• Bachelor's (or) Master's Degree in Child Life, Child Development, or a closely related field.
• Completion of a child life internship.
• Certified Child Life Specialist (or eligible) within one year of hire.
