Location: Dallas, TX Shift: 1st Shift Work model: On-Site Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Sales Intern in Dallas to provide support to Schneider's sales team. The Sales Intern will gain an understanding of transportation, sales and customer service through training opportunities and hands-on work assignments. Responsibilities: Learn and apply Schneider's sales process. Prospect for new customers. Create and track orders. Negotiate rates with carriers. Communicate with customers on the status of loads. Internship-specific opportunities: Networking events with Schneider associates. Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders. Business resource groups meetings and events. Volunteer activities. After-work social gatherings. Skills and qualifications: Currently enrolled at a college or university. Working toward a bachelor's degree. 1 year of previous work experience.
